I'm completely pro-"the healthy way". I definitely do not support weight loss by anorexia, bulimia, or any other ED. Put the work in, eat right, and look fabulous.

Because, honestly, after an hour of plyo and 15 minutes of heavy bag work, all I can do is sit in the shower and try not to drown. #fitpeopleproblems

Top 10 Martial Arts for Self Defense. Aikido is #8 :)

http://listverse.com/2010/05/15/top-10-martial-arts-for-self-defense/

Western boxing being a better self defense art than karate? Wing chun? Jeet kune do? Aikido? I don’t think so.

What. I hate stuff like this. You can’t say a Western Boxer is going to be better at defending himself than someone who does Wing Chun, and vice versa. Not even that the style is better. How effective it is depends on the person. I guarantee you that Ip Man would do SO much better than any of the boxers I go to college with.

okinawanwarrior replied to your post: I’ve decided that I’m going to do yoga in the morning and night, no exceptions.
Ease into it. Doing too much can lead to strain or injury just like intense strength stuff can.

No, I definitely will. I’ll only do light stuff for 10-15 minutes until I get better at it.

If cardio and strength are so important to me, then flexibility and balance should be, too. But I swear to god, if I fall out of ONE more pose, I’m going to die.
